Lillies 2020 Visits

Today we went to Ffynone Waterfall near Boncath.  It was quite hilly in places and very muddy.  Lillie managed to loose her wellies on a number of occasions, and pops and nan both had very muddy boots and trousers. We managed to see some Teal and Mallard in one of the lakes, Teal Mallard Lillie could not resist a paddle in the stream On the way back we went past piles of logs and found these bracket fungus growing on them. This afternoon we had visitors who came to see Lillie, Keith, Jill and Joanne Whitehead.

Today we went to the Preselli Mountains, Lillie and I were going to go to the Cerrig Ladron, the peak at 468m above sea level, unfortunately when we reached the car park, halfway up, the car park and peak were covered in low cloud making it to dangerous to go up. We then decided to go to Pantmaenog Forest . Lesley, Lillie and Rufus, Lillie picking up stones. A male Bullfinch in the undergrowth We then went to Penrallt Garden Centre for lunch, Lillie tucked into Chicken Nuggets and Chips followed by half of pops Bara Brith. We then went to Ceibwr Bay , here Lillie practised her stone skimming while Nan and Pops collected Mermaids Purses. Nursehound Purses Small-Spotted Catshark Purses

Today we met Nick, Maxine, Lillie and Dylan at Percy Throwers Garden Centre in Shrewsbury, Lillie then came back with Nan and Pops. Dylan and Lillie enjoyed the singing penguins. On the way back we stopped in the Cambrian Mountains, Lillie took Rufus for a walk. The road through the Cambrian Mountains.

This is a blog of the things Lillie gets up to on her visits to her Nan and Pops in West Wales. Nan and Pops live in a small village called Sarnau (pronounced SAR-NEYE) which is just North of Aberporth and Cardigan, between Aberystwyth and Cardigan in the county of Ceredigion. They live in a house called Morawelon, and from Lillie's bedroom, on a clear day you can see the sea.
