A blustery afternoon for our bird walk at Tanybwlch Beach, Penparcau, Aberystwyth, this afternoon.

Afterwards we went to the Promenade at Aberystwyth to watch the "Murmuration" of Starlings.  Each night, during the winter months, the starlings do a spectacular flying display before going to roost under the pier.

Today we met Nick, Maxine, Lillie and Dylan at Percy Throwers Garden Centre in Shrewsbury, Lillie then came back with Nan and Pops. Dylan and Lillie enjoyed the singing penguins. This afternoon we went to Tanybwlch beach , Penparcau, Aberystwyth to do a Mermaid Purse Hunt.  We also collected and noted other beach finds as well.  Lillie did exceptionally well and found some unusual Mermaids Purses as well as a dead Nursehound on the beach.  She also made a new friend, Lucy Cookson, Lillie and Lucy with a cuttlefish bone. Lillie also managed to find a fossil. Lillie doing what she likes to do best, throwing stones into the water..... And making friends with a dog.
